At TIMS FAMILY FARM we value many of the simple things in life. We do our best to be good stewards of what has been entrusted to us. This includes our land, our crops, what we harvest, and also our customers. We believe that a clearly defined set of core values is necessary both to conduct business and to enjoy a fulfilling life.

In all of our business dealings involving our farm we strive to maintain the following core values:

  • We produce the highest quality fruits and vegetables.
  • We harvest different varieties of fruits and vegetables (more than 10 tomato varieties for example) to ensure taste and diversity for our customers.
  • We practice sustainable agriculture integrating three main goals - enviromental health, economic profitability, and social and economic equity.
  • We reduce the use of pesticides and chemicals to the minimum and only if necessary. In some of our crops we donīt use them at all (like for broccoli).
  • We care about you, our customer, to provide you with our best selection of produce and our best service at our diferent locations.
  • we care about nature, hard work, family and our community.

We believe in the virtue of integrity, commitment, honesty and hard work. These are timeless values. A handshake and a personīs word should mean more than a written contract. We value our relationship with our customers, and we consider ourselves successful when those we do business with become our friends. In short, we conduct business the way we want to be treated.
